Gag House Comedy Superstars is back in Hastings!

Gag House Comedy are over the moon to be presenting this night of comedy with acts that will be familiar to you from shows such as Q.I., Mock The WeekLive At The Apollo, Have I Got News For YouThe John Bishop Show, Russell Howard’s Good News and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Headlining the show is Nish Kumar. Critically acclaimed comic, internationally famed meme & wonderfully nice gentleman, Nish Kumar is a comedian, and a ‘bloody good one‘ at that (Time Out). Nish has been on numerous TV shows but, perhaps, best known as the host on The Mash Report. You would also have seen him on Q.I., Mock The Week, Live At The ApolloHave I Got News For You, The John Bishop Show8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Russell Howard’s Stand-Up!

The night will be expertly compered by Matt Richardson. Matt presents on Virgin Radio, as host of the Drivetime show.  He has also hosted TV shows including The Xtra FactorJust Tattoo Of Us and Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live, and has appeared on The Chase, CelebAbility, The Chris Ramsey Show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Celebrity Juice.

Joining the bill will be Tanyalee Davis. Tanyalee is a 3 foot 6 inch standup comedian who inspires, enlightens, and entertains her audiences. TV credits include This Morning, The One Show, Live at The Apollo and The John Bishop Show.

Completing the lineup is one of the funniest headliners on the UK comedy circuit, Andrew Ryan. Andrew has appeared on TV on Russell Howard’s Good News, Best of the Edinburgh Festival Live, The Blame Game and Live at The Comedy Store.


Nish Kumar

Critically acclaimed comic, internationally famed meme & wonderfully nice gentleman, Nish Kumar is a comedian, and a bloody good one at that (Time Out).

Alongside stand-up Nish is a frequent voice and face across both television and radio and was the 2015/2016 host of topical comedy show, Newsjack for Radio 4 Extra. Following a successful pilot in 2016, Nish has completed two series of his own topical show for BBC Radio 4, Spotlight Tonight,which he also hosts.

On screen you can catch up with Nish on the likes of Q.I., Mock The Week & Live At The Apollo both as a stand-up guest and host (all BBC Two), Have I Got News For You & The John Bishop Show (BBC One), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown(Channel 4), Russell Howard’s Stand-Up for Central, Drunk History, The Alternative Comedy Experience & Live At The Comedy Store (all Comedy Central) and Alan Davies As Yet Untitled (Dave).

Most recently Nish starred alongside fellow comic Joel Dommett in a 6-part travelogue for Comedy Central, Joel and Nish vs The World wand hosted his own new satirical, spoof, news series, The Mash Report, for BBC Two, which aired on Thursdays at 10pm with more confirmed for 2018.

Matt Richardson

Matt has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young performers and presenters – hosting the drive-time show on Virgin Radio.

His TV credits include co-hosting the Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack, Co-Hosting Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live! alongside Christine Lampard. He has also appeared on Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Sweat The Small Stuff, Big Brothers Bit on the Side, Fake Reaction, Its Not Me It’s You, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now! and countless other shows.

Tanyalee Davis

Tanyalee Davis is a 3 foot 6 inch standup comedian form Canada.

Since arriving in the UK back in 2013 Tanyalee has stormed the UK comedy scene earning her appearances on prestigious comedy shows such as Live At The Apollo, The Last Leg & The John Bishop Show. Tanyalee also supported Frankie Boyle on his 2012 UK Tour 

Not just content on being a comedian Tanyalee has also appeared in multiple movies including El Matador, For Da Love Of Money & Austin Powers 3: Goldmember.

Tanyalee is also part of Abnormally Funny People, an ensemble show, performing throughout the United Kingdom. In 2007 Tanyalee premiered her first one woman show called “Little Do They Know” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she received 4 star reviews.

Andrew Ryan

Irishman Andrew Ryan is one of the most exciting talents in recent years; in demand as an act and an MC at the biggest comedy clubs across the UK & Ireland.

Andrew’s quintessentially Irish storytelling abilities and cheeky, friendly demeanour make him a natural  stand up.  

Andrew has appeared on many TV shows in the UK & Ireland. He has performed stand-up on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Best of the Edinburgh Festival Live on BBC3, The Blame Game on BBC 1, Live at The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, Live for MIND on Comedy Central, The Six O Clock show on TV3 ( Ireland).
