Stuart Goldsmith is an internationally award-winning comedian, writer, podcaster and host.
With a reputation for smart, accessible stand-up, Stuart’s enthusiasm and natural charm conceal a quick wit and fearlessness honed by his early career as a street performer. Surprisingly candid about his exploits, sexploits and textploits, Stuart likes to get his teeth into love, romance and the downside of getting what you want.
In addition to his stand-up credentials, recent years have seen Stuart build a reputation as a highly skilled interviewer and engaging host. His always insightful and often inspiring The Comedian’s Comedian podcast shines a light on the darkest creative secrets of his fellow comics, and is much beloved by comedy fans, performers and industry alike. Previous guests include Russell Brand, Jimmy Carr, Tim Minchin, Russell Howard, Sarah Millican, Al Murray, Ross Noble, Tim Vine and David O’Doherty.
Mark Palmer is one of a rare breed of comedians: he can make you laugh without having to pepper his routine with expletives or venture too far below the belt. He’s great at slice-of-life comedy, and deftly gives a wide range of subjects a sharp nudge in the ribs…
The Cape Times
For 12 years Mark Palmer built up a reputation as one of South Africa’s most in demand comedians for three main reasons, being “Clean, classy and clever” (Cape Argus).
Before moving to the UK in 2012, Mark was known as the only 100% “clean” stand-up comic in SA. This landed him work with such notable companies as the Protea Hotel Group, Ford, iTouchSA and many more.
Since being here in the UK; he’s become a mainstay on the comedy circuit, is a frequent entertainer on Royal Carribean cruise ships, he’s become a truly international comedian (Canada, Malta, Czech Republic, Belgium etc) and has worked for companies such as Tevo Ltd, Isabella International, All Things Media, FinancialForce.com etc
In 2018 Maisie was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, for her debut show ‘Vague’ and she won the Amused Moose National Comic Award. Maisie Adam is a young female comedian from Yorkshire. Having only started on the circuit in 2016, her anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country.
After previewing her first stand-up show “Living On The Edge” at the Ilkley Fringe, she then took the debut show on tour to theatres, festivals and comedy nights across the UK. After receiving positive reviews from runs at Bath Comedy Festival, Hastings Fringe Comedy Festival, Southend Fringe and Guildford Fringe, the show was nominated for Best New Comedy at the 2017 Brighton Fringe.
Ben Pope was the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year Winner 2017 and has placed as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year 2015.
He started comedy at university where he was the President of the Cambridge Footlights (2013-14) and has been doing stand-up for seven years (as an act and MC). He has toured internationally with the Footlights, and gigs regularly as a stand-up across the UK. Ben has previously worked with the award-winning NewsRevue, and appeared on Comedy Central’s Achievement Unlocked and BBC New Comedy Award on Radio 4 Extra.
