Ben Norris

Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well-respected stand-up. He’s been performing comedy since 1993 and is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material.

Other interesting facts about Ben: he’s the cousin of actor Martin Freeman and also the father of triplets (2 girls and a boy)

Cally Beaton

Cally is a natural storyteller full of intelligent, distinctive and punchline-rich material. Her act is a
rollercoaster ride of anecdotes, observations and stuff even your best mate wouldn’t admit to.

She is listed in Chortle’s: 2017 Comedians To Watch and her Finalist credits include: Fresh Comedy Knights 2016, Max Turner Prize 2016, Bath Comedy Festival 2016 and Gotham Comedy New Talent New York 2015.

Cally took her first show, Cat Call, to Edinburgh in 2016 with comedy partner Catherine Bohart, where it received a Malcolm Hardee Award. Her debut solo show, Super Cally Fragile Lipstick, was a sell-out hit at Edinburgh in 2017, receiving 4**** reviews, national press coverage and picked as Best of Edinburgh Fringe by The Arts Desk.

She has appeared several times on BBC Radio 4, including most recently on Museum of Comedy, and her first episode of QI on BBC2 is due for transmission in January 2018. She is a popular and seasoned speaker and MC on the corporate and after-dinner circuits.

Cally relishes engaging with live audiences and turning gender stereotypes on their head.

She is awesomely funny. And modest too.

But don’t listen to all this, listen to these people (only one of whom is a blood relation):

“Cally is a comedy queen – fiery, intelligent and totally original”
Sara Pascoe, Comedian, Actor, Writer

“Cally Beaton is an exciting and hilarious talent, definitely one to watch. Sometimes you just know when someone’s got it – and she’s got it”
Time Out

“Properly funny. A real find”
Sandi Toksvig, comedian, writer, presenter

Joe Sutherland

With a caustic, catty wit and unapologetic confidence, Joe has taken the UK comedy circuit by the balls, and the circuit liked it.

Tour support for Ellie Taylor 2016-18

UK tour support for stars of Rupaul’s Drag Race
including Alyssa Edwards, Trixie Mattell, and Sasha Velour

After being selected for the Pleasance Comedy Reserve in 2015, Joe made his solo Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2017 with MODEL/ACTRESS, which gained numerous 4-star reviews and featured in the Telegraph’s ‘Best one-liners of the Fringe 2017’

In 2018 he staged his second Edinburgh Fringe hour of razor-sharp comedy, TOXIC, a show about masculinity, gender, veganism and other millennial keywords. It was ranked as the 9th best reviewed show of the whole festival. That’s out of quite a few shows. Like, more than twelve.

Also working as an actor and writer, Joe has been seen in the movie Pride and written for really cool publications that you probably haven’t heard of… and a lols show about gay parents called Raised by Queers.

Konstantin Kisin

Konstantin Kisin is a Russian-British comedian, podcaster, writer and social commentator. He made international headlines in 2018 by refusing to sign a university “behavioural agreement form” which banned jokes about religion, atheism and insisted that all humour must be “respectful and kind”.

A regular host at the Kilkenomics economics & politics festival, he has spoken about Russian humour on the BBC, played some of the UK’s biggest clubs and has supported Geoff Norcott, Shazia Mirza and Andrew Doyle on tour.
