Brendon Burns

Not your everyday comic; older, wiser, calmer – Brendon Burns’s energy is still enticing.  His turn of phrase is coarse yet oddly eloquent, whilst remaining fully accessible and intensely loveable. Never pompous and ever self-deprecating, he just somehow seems to get away with murder.

“The single most jaw-dropping, awkward, yet ultimately rewarding bit of stand up we have ever seen” – ★★★★★★ (An unprecedented six stars) Time Out, London

Brendon Burns is an Australian stand-up comedian & author, who’s television career began alongside Sacha Baron Cohen & Ricky Gervais as a performer on The 11 O’Clock Show (Channel 4), but he is probably best known for his fearsome live solo shows, currently tallying at eighteen, with ten albums, and six live CDs to his name.

He first appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1996 and has returned every year since (bar 1999) and in 2007 won the unofficial Oscar of Stand up – the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Perrier Award for his show ‘So I Suppose This Is Offensive Now’. He released his first semi-autobiographical novel ‘Fear of Hat Loss in Las Vegas’ in 2010.

Brendon has become one of the most respected voices in comedy over the past 20 years, and commands a devoted following and critical acclaim.

“You have to hail a comic who exposes his life so willingly, who takes his audience on such an emotional ride without resorting to coarse manipulation, who has the courage to flirt with conventions of bad taste, who has the power of delivery to overwhelm resistance, revulsion and downright hostility, and, most of all, who makes it all damn funny” – Chortle

“Not only has he been pushing back the boundaries of taste for years, I’m quite certain he has no idea where they are” – Jimmy Carr

“I think it’s got to the stage now where we can officially call Brendon Burns a legend” – Bruce Dessau, London Evening Standard

Stephen Carlin

Stephen is a very enigmatic act, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very unexpected and off the wall references. His performances take the audience into the mind of a passionate obsessive often drawing on his hilarious knowledge of international snooker.

Stephen has supported Stephen Merchant on tour as well as Stewart Lee who named him as one of the ‘Ten Best Comedians Ever’.

Jacob Hawley

Jacob Hawley is one of the boldest new voices on the circuit, and is beginning to build a following after reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award 2017.  He has a self-aware, conversational style and delivers a hilariously introspective social commentary based on his small town suburban upbringing.  He regularly performs at some of the biggest and best clubs in the country and has won King Gong at London’s Comedy Store.  At the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Jacob performed a 40 minute work in progress show, Fruit Machine, to packed rooms and great acclaim, with one joke from the show being listed in the BBC’s Top Ten Gag’s from Edinburgh, and his eagerly awaited debut hour will premier at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018.

‘A mature, sharp wit, a relaxed manner and an undertow of political passion… Clever, and different.’ Bruce Dessau

‘Mocks blind patriotism in an enjoyably offbeat way. Nicely Wry’ Steve Bennett, Chortle

As seen on BBC iPlayer and heard on BBC Radio 4.

William Stone

William Stone is gathering moss. Stuck somewhere between reality and dreams, offering glimpses into his world through whimsical one-liners and oblique observations.

Semi-Finalist – BBC New Comedy Award 2018

Winner – FunHouse Comedy Gong Show January 2018

Semi-Finalist – Leicester Square Theatre New Act Competition 2017
